Default Best Build to Heal Rit¿?

Hello

I want to know which is the "best" build for a Rit focused at healing.

Also I want to know if it is too good the elite 'Ritual Lord', and for which type of rit.

Thanks.

I currently use the following build as a Rit healer:

[skill]Spirit Channeling[/skill][skill]Protective was Kaolai[/skill][skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill][skill]Soothing Memories[/skill][skill]Spirit Light[/skill][skill]Feast of Souls[/skill][skill]Life[/skill][skill]Flesh of my Flesh[/skill]
  • Hold Protective was Kaolai all the time until it is needed - it is a pre-cast Heal Party
  • Watch out for Life Dying...Life dies when it's recharged so keep Life up where possible, if you do need it to end early, use Feast of Souls.
  • Spirit Channeling is energy management...I don't often have trouble with energy management so you can use [wiki]Spirit Light Weapon[/wiki] in here if you want, or alternatively, use [wiki]Reclaim Essence[/wiki] to destroy life and give you energy back...maybe replace Feast of Souls with a weapon spell.

Not sure I understand what you're asking. If you're asking if Rit Lord is a good elite...yes, but not as good as it used to be. It's normally used with Communing Ritualists to help recharge all the Binding Rituals but has become less useful in PvE due to the new Luxon/Kurzick PvE-Only skill Summon Spirits...this frees up an elite slot so Wanderlust can be used

Well... It *is* possible to be a Rit Lord Healer...

Rit Lord --> Place a shedload of spirits --> Destroy 'em all with Feast of Souls, healing the entire party for 500+ hp --> Rinse, repeat

Whether you actually *need* to be an uber-heal party on crack is another matter... I'd stick to a direct healing build, like Celest's
Except I like Hex removals too

I'd like to see a hex removal in the Restoration line...even if it were elite...

Nasty Pink Degen Goes Away
"Elite Spell. Target ally is healed for 20...96 Health. That ally loses 1...2 hexes and 1...3 conditions if they are within earshot of a spirit"

But I guess on the occaision we need hex removal we'll have to dip into the mesmer or monk lines for the time being.

It's not too much of a stretch to run Holy Veil... Secondary's open, and pre-veiling is sex.

I like Expel Hexes too ^_^

here's mine:

Spirit Light
Mend Body & Soul
Soothing Memories
Ghostmirror Light
Resilient Weapon
Attuned was Songkai OR Spirit Channeling
Life
Flesh of My Flesh OR Death Pact Signet

This is my typical resto build (and its typical variations). Just keep Life up at all times, Ghostmirror Light has become one of my fav skills because if I'm taking dmg as well, then its a combo heal/self heal for tight situations. I organize my heals in order of potency. Use resil wep wisely, it can drain your e pretty fast (under AwS, spam away). Conditions that are pretty dire to not be buffed by RW (deep wound, Daze, weakness) can be removed with MB&S. My elite is always some form of e management, and whether or not there is heavy interrupt or enchant removal determines which I use (stripped SC sucks!) Also, if your mobs are far apart, use Death Pact as it is a better battle res. BE SURE TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE BATTLE RES IF TARGET IS AT HIGH DP!!!! There is nothing worse than to res a caster at >45% just to get sniped and leave you on the ground too. And if rits had hex removal, I would be the happiest guy in the world *looks at the GW:EN dev team*

P.S. I forgot how to make the picture link things!

I like the build were you use Attuned was Songkai + only monk healing skills. It has been posted here in the rit forum somewhere.

I've tried the most rit healing builds and this works very well.

really really depends what ur doing and whats ur group.

pve - spirit light weapon is a very good pve skill since it counters all pressure easily and mobs dont know when to change a target. again, the build depends on what pve ur doing, but take mend b&s, spirt light, life, recup, and some other stuff it doesnt really matter tbh. i use revealed hex for hex removal (btw the "make nasty pink degen go away" skill is overpowered XD and its the same as blight just much better).

pvp- again, depends what and where. RA and TA- u can keep SLW on everyone here, so use it. +30 hp every second, its like 15 regen, hard to pressure through that. then use the normal mb&s, spirit light, life, etc.
u can also use wielder's boon in combo with SLW.
in HA resto rits are used in groups of many resto rits- rage spike, rit spike. just use the build they give u.

Mine is pretty much direct healing, with some spirits:
Mend Body And Soul, Vital Weapon, Wielder's Boon, spirit Light, Resilent Weapon, Recuperation and Preservation
(Restoration = 16, communing = 12, Spawning = 8)

I use this set in most healing environment. Preservation and Recuperation are mainly the media to allow you to use spirit light without sacrifying health and provide condition removal while vital weapon can boost health and work with wielder's boon to offer extra healing.

I beat all 3 games with this simple build:
Vengeful Weapon
Mend Body and Soul
Spirit Light
Preservation [elite]
Recuperation
Bloodsong
Boon of Creation
Flesh of My Flesh

You could ditch Bloodsong for some mesmer/monk hex removal. I just liked doing a little damage. Recuperation is a conidtional skill...use it only when you're about to enter a BIG battle. Too expensive otherwise.

I think Remove Hex might be a good replacement for Holy Veil now that it was buffed =)

I use this build in the Deep (Luxon elite mission) so it is slightly different from the above in that energy management is only a small issue.

Restoration=16 Spawning=13 (12+1 minor rune)

Lively was Naomi or Rebirth
Mend body and Soul
Wielder's Boon
Spirit Light
Spirit Light Weapon
Recuperation
Life
Protective Was Kaolai

Lively Was Naomi is used for wipes and or 1 hp bip resurrection either to supplement or back up resurrection chant. It also has the nice ability for a self res. Rebirth taken for the same reasons except the 1hp bip resurection.

Cast Protective was Kaolai and save it for when a heal party is needed. Then cast recuperation and life. Now you have spirits for spirit light and spirit light weapon and for condition removal should you need it. Always recast life when it dies. That is the single most important thing. It not only heals for more than a healers boon heal party but its cheap as well often providing unexpected relief and in a very bad situation can be the target of a monster should u need to run.
Spirit light weapon is the key to this build due to its cheap 5 cost and 5 recharge. Place this on anyone taking damage then a quick 140 Wielder's boon (1/4 cast) can be used followed by spirit light (188 heal 1 sec cast) if they are taking a lot of damage. If the person happens to be out of range for a spirit (especially if you are in a start room) then when life dies recast it close enough to trigger the extra regen from spirit light weapon.
If lots of healing is necessary recuperation may not always be able to be used at which point you should call for energy or simply keep life going trusting the other 3 healers to keep everyone alive while you create it.
Combining forces with another rit healer means preservation can also be taken and perhaps another weapon spell for diversity, but the important thing is that 2 Wielder's boon and spirit light can be used for truly amazing healing.

Perhaps most importantly of all this build WORKS so don't let any prejudiced folks in the deep tell you it doesn't or that rits don't go in the deep...they do and it works incredibly well.

I ran this build during the GWEN preview. Works well against AoE damage and condition pressure.

16 Restoration, 12 Healing Prayers

[skill]Soothing Memories[/skill][skill]Mend Body And Soul[/skill][skill]Ghostmirror Light[/skill][skill]Light Of Deliverance[/skill][skill]Life[/skill][skill]Protective was Kaolai[/skill][skill]Pure Was Li Ming[/skill][skill]Flesh Of My Flesh[/skill]or[skill]Rebirth[/skill]

You can heal party for 155 HP in a pinch (LoD + dropping PwK) as well as remove most, if not all, conditions on all party members in one shot (PwLM). Ghostmirror light still heals other ally without a spirit around but can be replaced with Spirit light if you expect a spirit to be up pretty consistently.

All the builds posted thus far have at least 1 spirit in them, so here's one without spirits that I like to run in a fast-moving group:

Rit/Ranger, 16 Resto, 13 Spawning, 3 Wilderness Survival

[skill]Soothing Memories[/skill][skill]Mend Body And Soul[/skill][skill]Vengeful Weapon[/skill][skill]Ghostmirror Light[/skill][skill]Wielder's Remedy[/skill][skill]Attuned Was Songkai[/skill][skill]Serpent's Quickness[/skill][skill]Flesh Of My Flesh[/skill]

AwS can be kept up constantly thanks to Serpent's so you should be able to spam heals without energy issues. Vengeful Weapon will remove a condition while Wielder's Remedy is active. This build allows for good mobility and doesn't need to take a 3s break from healing every 20s to cast Life. And it still has condition removal.

Restoration 12+1+3
Spawning 11+1
(the rest in Inspiration Magic)

This is my BASIC* healing setup. SLW is a great single-target healing spell, MB&S is condition removal, PwK and Life are multi-person heals. Revealed Hex is there because Ritualist hex removal is nonexistant, so I'd rather a Monk do that while I just use it to get a bit of energy back in the process.

*it changes a lot based around where I am, what we're facing, and what the other healers in the group are doing.
